"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas..."  If you live in Dallas, you know that we're in for some nasty weather this evening.  Although we will not be seeing any snow tonight, we can cuddle up on the couch and enjoy an old holiday flick.  One of my favorites is White Christmas, a musical starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye.  The film also co-stars Vera-Ellen and George Clooney's dear old aunt, Rosemary Clooney.

Tis' the season to wear sequins!  Like a moth to a flame, I was drawn to these sequin covered UGG Australia 'Classic Short Sparkles' boots in Nordstrom the other day.  I think I might have to add them to my Christmas list.  What color would you go for?  Passion purple, silver, or black?  All images via www.uggaustralia.com.

Turkey time table manners.  "Manners are a sensitive awareness of the feelings of others.  If you have that awareness, you have good manners, no matter what fork you use." - Emily Post

Queen of Spades.  Do you ever walk into a store, and feel like it was created just for you?  Like someone dreamt up a brand tailor made for your style?  I tend to feel that way about Kate Spade.  After perusing their new arrivals today, I think I might have to splurge on the Merino 'Ooh la-la!' sweater.

Table for two.  This time a year ago, Casey and I were a little less than a month away from tying the knot.  Suddenly my parents' living room was transformed into a winter wonderland.  Because it was so packed with moss filled vases, ivory stick trees and other holiday decorations; we were unable to hold our traditional Thanksgiving feast at the pink house.  Pictured above is one of the remnants from the affair - an Edwardian script table number accented with vintage glass glitter.

Les Cadeaux Fantastiques.  It's here!  It's here!  The 2011 Neiman Marcus Christmas Book just recently came out.  If I had all the money in the world I would purchase one of each of these "fantasy gifts".   One International Flower Show Tour for all the ladies to fuss over, and one Neiman Marcus Edition Hacker-Craft Speedboat for men to smoke cigars on.  Got it, Santa?
Prima Ballerina Paint Palette.  Take note from these tutu inspired tints via House Beautiful Magazine.  A charming take on traditional fall hues, with a splash of pink and lilac.

Oh, I just loooove room service! As my husband makes plans to travel to New York this November with his brothers, I realize how jealous I am.  New York is one of my favorite cities, and it always reminds me of my favorite children's book, Eloise.  If I were seven again, I would stay at the Plaza's Eloise Suite, designed by Betsy Johnson.  It's rawther lovely!

Neiman Marcus Luxe.  Luxury: [luhk-shuh-ree] noun; plural-ries, adjective, noun
1. A material object, service, etc., conducive to sumptuous living, usually a delicacy, elegance, or refinement of living rather than a necessity.  Chanel was a luxury not allowed for in her budget.

Tutu fabulous!  Check out Robert Sandla's article, Bedecked, Bedazzled & Bejeweled: Costume Ornamentation at New York City Ballet ".  It describes in careful detail the construction, maintenance, and love that go into prima ballerinas' costumes at New York City Ballet.  Make sure to scroll through the online exhibition, which includes vintage costumes- many of which were designed by Madame Karinska herself.

La Frange Française.  Love 'em, hate 'em, grow 'em, cut 'em.  Bangs and I are the definition of a love-hate relationship.  However, they do frame the face beautifully, emphasize the eyes, and have the power to make any haircut look chic.  French women wear them particularly well.  Take inspiration from Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve above.

My, what big chandeliers you have!  I loooovvee chandeliers.  I think it is a sickness that I inherited from my mother.  She currently has a chandelier in almost every room of her house, including her closet.
Think pink!  “I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”-Audrey Hepburn
